Get up to speed on everything you need to know about valves, hydrants and ductile iron pipes in this class broken down into four sections. Topics covered will include all aspects of valves including their history and the different types--plug, gate, wedge, disc and check—and the benefits of each type. The manufacturing process for MJ and Flange Ductile Iron fittings as well as the benefits of Wedge Action Restraints will also be discussed. Ductile iron pipes, pipe joints and accessories, proper pipe handling and instillation, options for corrosion protection and other tools and services related to pipes will be covered as well as all aspects of hydrants, gates and butterfly valves.
