Chemical Feed Systems and Metering Pumps 8:30am-11:45am 3TCH’s

Wayne Bennett, Instrumentation Sales for F.W. Webb Co., will provide a comprehensive look into chemical feed systems and metering pumps. The course will go into great detail on chemical metering pump repair, installation, operation as well as troubleshooting. The three-hour course will include metering pump types such as: solenoid, motor driven, hydraulic, peristaltic and other pump technologies. The course will also include the installation, repair and pump sizing of chemical feed pumps and chemical feed system applications. Chlorination system installation and operation will also be discussed, including what to do and what not to do for this very specific application.

Tank Mixers, Reservoir Circulators and THM Reduction Systems 12:30pm-3:45pm 3TCH’s

Michael Sullivan, Medora Corp GridBee/SolarBee/THM Reduction Systems, will provide information on the various tank mixing technologies available for improving potable water quality in storage tanks. Michael will discuss the different sizes and types of mixers with either solar powered or grid powered alternatives. He will also discuss simple and effective solutions to address high THM’s in storage tanks.

Attendees may attend one or both trainings (please specify when registering). The cost is the same for 3TCH’s or 6TCH’s. Wastewater professionals may only receive TCH's (3) for the Chemical Feed Systems and Metering Pumps training. Water professionals may receive TCH's for both trainings.
